Microsoft 365, formerly Office 365, provides numerous features for its business users to customize the look and feel of its apps. From apps to admin center, users can customize the appearance to meet their needs or preferences. IT admins too can customize Microsoft 365 appearance and branding for all of their team members via the admin console. In this article, we explained how IT admins can change the default Microsoft 365 theme. Simply follow the steps below and you will be able to do it easily.
Step 1: Go to Microsoft Admin Center
Visit office.com and log in to your Microsoft 365 account using your admin login credentials.
Step 2: Go to Settings
From the admin center, click on Settings. Then click again on the Org Settings. Go to the Organization Profile in the Org Settings page. You then will see an option to customize themes. Click on the Custom Themes option.
Step 3: Upload a Logo
You can upload your organization’s logo.
We can upload a new logo or we can also set a logo from a specific URL. Keep in mind that the logo size should be at least 200 x 30 pixels and it should be less than 10 KB. Currently, Microsoft allows on jpg, png, gif, and SVG formats.
Step 4: Set Custom Background
Microsoft 365 apps background in the web version can easily be customized from the admin center. Choose a color for the navigation background from the customization option and click on the Save button.
In addition to these text and accent colors can also be customized.
Step 5: Apply Customization
Once all the colors are selected, save and apply the changes. Now, all the users within your Microsoft 365 account will be able to see the new changes.
