Whether it is for data migration or a general IT audit, IT admins need to check the storage consumption and usage stats in G Suite. Finding those numbers in the G Suite admin area can be a little difficult. If you are one of those IT admins who needs the G Suite storage metrics, follow these instructions. Keep in mind that you need admin access to perform the following tasks.
Step 1: Go to G Suite Admin Console
Go to admin.google.com and enter your G Suite admin login credentials. Alternatively, you can access the admin console from the Google.com toolbar.
Step 2: Click on Reports
Go to the reports section by clicking on the Reports tab in the admin area.
Step 3: Click on Accounts
In the Reports page, click on the App Reports to expand for more options. Now, click on the Accounts link.
Step 4: Check for “Storage Used by Apps”
In this page, find the “Storage used by apps” section. Choose the latest date and run the report. You will be able see the storage used by G Suite products like Gmail, Drive, Photos, and Shared Drives.
