How to Know Who Viewed Your Sites and Pages in SharePoint

SharePoint has so many features that no matter how expert you are, there is always something new to learn. Do you know that SharePoint allows you to check access stats for your files or sites? If you are new to SharePoint or not a power user, learn how you can check who viewed your content in SharePoint.

  • Step 1: Log in to SharePoint Online Account

Go to office.com and enter your Microsoft 365 login details to access your account dashboard.

  • Step 2: Go to SharePoint Account

 Expand Office 365 options and click on the SharePoint logo. This will take you to the SharePoint website.

  • Step 3:  Click on SharePoint Settings

Click on the main SharePoint settings icon on the top of the website and then click on the Site Settings option.

  • Step 4:  Click on Manage Site Features

Go to the Manage Site Features option with the Site settings.

  • Step 5:  Look for SharePoint Viewers

Search for SharePoint Viewers and click on the activate button to start tracking usage access.

  • Step 6:  Check Who Viewed Your Content

Go to the file or folder of your choice and check for the number of views recorded below each file.
